According to the National Election Commission, out of 34,922 eligible voters in Hamyang-gun, 13,114 people have participated in voting so far.
The early voting rate in the county was high at 21.12%, with 7,376 out of 34,922 voters casting their ballots early.
The number of eligible voters for this provincial council by-election is 34,922, consisting of 16,687 males and 18,235 females.
By region, the numbers are as follows: Hamyang-eup 15,662, Macheon-myeon 2,026, Hyucheon-myeon 1,502, Yurim-myeon 1,276, Sudong-myeon 2,249, Jigok-myeon 1,920, Anui-myeon 4,204, Seoham-myeon 1,369, Seosang-myeon 1,691, Baekjeon-myeon 1,462, and Byeonggok-myeon 1,261.
The county election commission expects the voter turnout for this election to be between 55% and 60%.
