Providing 30,000 KRW 'Science Culture Voucher' per Person to 50,000 Underprivileged Individuals
Ministry of Science and ICT-Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science and Creativity Accept Applications on a First-Come, First-Served Basis from the 15th to the 30th
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bong-su] The Ministry of Science and ICT and the Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science and Creativity announced on the 7th that they will provide science culture vouchers worth 30,000 KRW per person to 50,000 people in science culture underserved regions and groups.
The science culture voucher is provided as online points that can be used for science performances, exhibition experiences, educational kits, books, and more. The purpose is to reduce the science culture gap while promoting the market for science culture products, thereby supporting the revitalization of the science culture industry.
Each individual will receive online points worth 30,000 KRW, which can be used from next month until October to enjoy over 300 science culture products such as non-face-to-face science musicals, science museum exhibitions and experiences, board games, and assembly kits.
Starting this year, the newly established Science Culture Voucher website allows users to apply for vouchers and use products on a single platform. Real-time confirmation of reservations and order details is available.

Applications can be submitted online through the Science Culture Voucher website from 10 a.m. on the 15th until 5 p.m. on the 30th by social welfare facilities nationwide, schools in remote and mountainous areas, as well as institutions operating national policy projects for socially disadvantaged groups such as Dream Start, Youth After-School Academies, and Priority Support Schools for Educational Welfare. Eligible applicants will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis excluding duplicates.
