The People Power Party Gwangju City Party announced on the 6th that at the emergency countermeasure committee meeting held on the 5th, it resolved to appoint organizational chairpersons for three by-election constituencies (Buk-gu Eul, Gwangsan-gu Gap, Gwangsan-gu Eul) for the National Assembly election districts.
The Gwangju City Party's "by-election constituencies" are areas where the party chairpersons voluntarily resigned before the 21st general election, and have been conducting evaluations through a call for organizational chairpersons since the 29th of last month.
The newly appointed Buk-gu Eul Chairperson Kim Insook is a former member of the 9th Jeonnam Provincial Council and served as a non-executive director of the Korea Rural Community Corporation.
Kim Junghyun, Chairperson of Gwangsan-gu Gap, previously served as the social welfare committee chair of the Gwangju City Party and has been involved in various related activities.
Ahn Taewook, Chairperson of Gwangsan-gu Eul, is a former official of the People Power Party Secretariat, served as president of TBN Gwangju Traffic Broadcasting, and is currently active as a director of the Gwangju Jeonnam Development Council.
