Samsung Securities Offers Up to $100 Investment Support for Customers Trading Overseas Stocks...

[Asia Economy Reporter Ji-hwan Park] Samsung Securities announced that it is conducting an event until the 30th that provides up to $100 to new customers or customers who have no experience trading overseas stocks.

This event provides an investment support fund of $20 to new customers or customers who have not traded overseas stocks from January 1, 2015, to March 31, 2021. After that, a trading congratulatory bonus of up to 80,000 KRW will be given step-by-step according to the amount of online overseas stock trading.

First, the investment support fund is immediately deposited into the application account upon event participation application. The deposited $20 can be used to purchase U.S. stocks within 5 business days from the deposit date. If U.S. stocks are not purchased, the investment support fund will be automatically withdrawn after 6 business days.

Afterwards, the trading congratulatory bonus can be received up to $80 if the customer trades overseas stocks online above a certain amount and meets all the step-by-step criteria by May 31, 2021.

If overseas stocks are traded online for more than 1 million KRW, $20 is given; if traded over 10 million KRW, an additional $30 is added for a total of $50; and finally, if traded over 100 million KRW, another $30 is added for a total of $80, which can be received in June 2021.

To participate in the event, customers must apply for participation on the Samsung Securities website or the mobile app mPOP during the event period. Event participation applications are not available on weekends and are possible daily from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. However, customers who applied for the 'Your Reliable $100 Behind You' event held in March cannot apply for this event simultaneously.
