View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Gimhae City, Gyeongnam Province, is recruiting new Good Price Businesses for 2021 until May 14.
Good Price Businesses are establishments that contribute to stabilizing local prices through clean hygiene conditions, affordable prices, and excellent service, designated according to the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's evaluation criteria.
Applicants must be individual service businesses such as restaurants, beauty salons, laundries, and accommodations located within the city. However, businesses exceeding the local average price, those that have received administrative sanctions within the past two years, those with overdue local taxes, and franchises are excluded.
Currently, 66 Good Price Businesses are designated and operating. This year, the plan is to expand to 76 by adding 10 more establishments.
The city evaluates new applicants through on-site inspections and suitability assessments based on 11 criteria across four areas: price, hygiene and cleanliness, service, and public interest.
Selected Good Price Businesses will receive support such as certification signboards and volume-based waste bags, and small-scale facility environment improvement subsidies will be implemented to boost their pride.
