Emart Traders Launches Private Brand Milk in Collaboration with Seoul Milk
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Emart Traders announced on the 5th that it will introduce a milk product in collaboration with Seoul Milk, marking the first time in the distribution industry.
Traders will launch ‘My Milk 2.4L’ made by Seoul Milk under its private label T Standard. The price is around 4,600 won, about 17% cheaper than existing Seoul Milk products.
Generally, PL products have been made through cooperation between distributors and the 2nd or 3rd largest manufacturers in the industry to increase market share, but this time, unusually, the industry’s top manufacturer produced Traders’ PL product.

A Traders official said, “Traders will further strengthen grocery competitiveness with T Standard My Milk made by Seoul Milk, while Seoul Milk can expand its B2C market through Traders, which is continuously opening offline stores and showing high growth.”
