CityLabs Wins Project for Advanced Gyeonggi Traffic DB and Mokpo BIS Construction
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] City Labs, an ICT solution specialist company based on 4th industrial revolution technology, is accelerating the expansion of public projects (SOC) related to the construction and advancement of transportation systems.
City Labs announced on the 2nd that it has consecutively won two SOC projects: the Gyeonggi-do Transportation DB System Advancement and Operation Management Project, and the Mokpo City Ultra-Precision Bus Location Information Provision System Construction Project.
The company stated that, in line with the New Deal policy direction, as budget execution for the SOC business sector is in full swing and related project demand continues to increase, it plans to continuously strengthen its position as a leading domestic transportation information system provider.
The Gyeonggi-do Transportation DB System Advancement and Operation Management Project won by City Labs aims to establish a systematic collection and management system for various transportation data within Gyeonggi-do and to lay the foundation for efficient transportation policy formulation and evaluation.
Additionally, the Mokpo City Ultra-Precision Bus Location Information Provision System Construction Project, which was also won, includes the construction of streaming infrastructure for all sections currently operating within the jurisdiction, including the Bus Information System (BIS), with the goal of enhancing the convenience of public transportation.

This year, City Labs is continuing its SOC project winning streak centered on the transportation system business sector. Early this month, it won the Hanam City BIS project, followed by the Icheon City Integrated Control Center maintenance project, and recently was selected as the project operator for the Jeju Smart City Challenge project, which involves a total project cost of 22 billion KRW.
