Vaccinations at the Hapcheon Gymnasium Vaccination Center Starting April 15
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongnam announced on the 1st that it conducted a simulated vaccination drill targeting 30 virtual vaccine recipients at the COVID-19 vaccination center.
On this day, related organizations including Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do, the 4th Battalion of the 5870 Unit, police, and fire departments participated in the COVID-19 vaccination simulation drill, conducting it by simulating an actual vaccination situation.
The drill was conducted to ensure a smooth opening ahead of the full-scale operation of the COVID-19 vaccination center scheduled for April 15.
During this simulation, the entire process of the COVID-19 vaccine vaccination center’s operation procedures and personnel and vaccine management capabilities were checked, including vaccine preparation, medical questionnaire completion, medical examination and vaccination, electronic registration, adverse reaction monitoring, and emergency transport.
Additionally, onsite consulting on overall center operations was provided by evaluation committee members from Gyeongnam Province and the Gyeongnam Infectious Disease Management Support Group who observed the drill.
A county official stated, “The consent rate for vaccination among seniors aged 75 and older, who will receive COVID-19 vaccinations at the vaccination center starting on the 15th, is currently 73%. Consent for vaccination is being collected through the eup/myeon offices until April 6, so we ask for active participation in vaccination. We also plan to operate chartered buses to provide mobility convenience for seniors with difficulty moving.”
Meanwhile, County Governor Moon, who observed the entire drill, said, “Vaccination is the top priority to overcome COVID-19, and I sincerely hope that herd immunity will be formed quickly so that we can return to our previous daily lives.”

Also, at 2 p.m., in accordance with the second quarter vaccine inoculation plan, public officials belonging to the Regional Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters publicly received the AstraZeneca vaccine at the public health center’s vaccination room.
