IBK, Non-Face-to-Face Volunteer Activity Event for Youth... First 1000 Participants Only
2 Hours of Volunteer Work Recognized for Watching Environmental Issue Videos and Posting Photos of Environmental Campaign Activities on SNS
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] IBK Industrial Bank of Korea announced on the 1st that it will hold a ‘Youth Non-face-to-face Volunteer Activity Event’ in collaboration with Eco Mom Korea, providing environmental volunteer opportunities to children of employees of client companies.
The bank explained that this event was planned to provide opportunities to youth who find it difficult to participate in volunteer activities directly due to COVID-19 and to raise awareness about environmental issues.
Youth participating in the volunteer activity will watch videos related to environmental issues, carry out environmental campaigns, and post related photos on their social networking service (SNS) to receive recognition for 2 hours of volunteer work. Eligible participants are children under 19 years old of employees of client companies holding an IBK Industrial Bank of Korea account.

The volunteer activity can be applied for on the event page posted on the Industrial Bank of Korea’s website or mobile banking app ‘i-ONE Bank’ until the 15th of this month, and participation opportunities will be provided to the first 1,000 applicants. A bank official said, “We hope this event helps youth form correct values regarding the environment,” and added, “We will continue to provide various opportunities for customers to participate in volunteer activities.”
