[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Juhyung] Twenty elderly residents at a nursing facility in Gyeongsan, Gyeongbuk, were collectively confirmed positive for COVID-19.
According to Gyeongbuk Province on the 1st, after three staff members at the daytime care facility in the Gyeongsan nursing home tested positive the previous day, tests conducted on the users revealed that 20 elderly residents tested positive on the same day.
The three staff members were confirmed positive through proactive testing at a high-risk facility.
Among 11 employees, 8 tested negative, and among 25 users, 5 tested negative.
