Korea Venture Investment Hosts Smart Korea Fund Partners Day
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Korea Venture Investment (CEO Lee Young-min) announced on the 1st that it held the "1st Smart Korea Fund Partners Day," attended by venture capitalists (VCs) and entrepreneurs related to the non-face-to-face industry.
The event, held on the 31st, was released as video content, allowing businesspeople and the general public who had difficulty attending to participate without time constraints. The video is scheduled to be released on June 8th through the Korea Venture Investment YouTube channel.
The Partners Day was themed around the non-face-to-face industry, the main investment sector of the Smart Korea Fund, and was designed as a program to inform about investment trends and venture funds, as well as to discover promising startups.

Lee Young-min, CEO of Korea Venture Investment, said, "Starting with the non-face-to-face industry, we plan to hold Partners Days within this year for the main investment sectors of the Smart Korea Fund, including bio and green new deal industries," adding, "The Smart Korea Fund will present a new direction for the venture investment market, which is changing due to COVID-19 and other factors."
