Philosys Healthcare Completes Delivery of Antigen Rapid Test Kits Worth Approximately 3.2 Billion KRW to Malaysia
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] Philosis Healthcare (CEO Choi Inhwan) announced on the 1st that it has completed the full delivery of approximately 3.2 billion KRW worth of COVID-19 antigen rapid diagnostic kits, ‘Gmate COVID-19 Ag,’ contracted with Malaysia.
Philosis Healthcare signed a supply contract worth 2.8 million USD for COVID-19 antigen diagnostic kits with Malaysia’s A&B Health Supplies SDN. BHD. in March last year.
Although the initial contract planned to supply antigen diagnostic kits, the supply product was changed to the antigen rapid diagnostic kit Gmate COVID-19 Ag after it demonstrated 95% accuracy at hospitals under the Malaysian Ministry of Health, recognizing the product’s excellence. The original supply period was three years, but Philosis Healthcare completed the full delivery within one year.
Gmate COVID-19 Ag is very user-friendly, allowing result interpretation and transmission via an app, making it highly versatile. Philosis Healthcare has been recognized for this excellence and has signed contracts with multiple countries regarding COVID-19 products, also obtaining export approval from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety.
In addition to antigen rapid diagnostic kits, Philosis Healthcare continues to export specimen collection kits. In January, it signed a contract to supply specimen collection kits worth 48 million USD (approximately 52.9 billion KRW) to the United States and UAE, with the second delivery already completed and the third delivery in preparation.
