Ministry of Economy and Finance Holds Korean Economy Briefing for 81 Foreign Embassies in Korea
Announcement of Korea New Deal Strategy and Discussions on Economic Cooperation Plans with Various Countries
[Sejong=Asia Economy Reporter Moon Chaeseok] On the 31st, the Ministry of Economy and Finance held the 2nd Korea Economic Briefing for Foreign Missions in Korea via video conference. It was two months after the 1st meeting on January 28.
At this briefing, attended by 125 ambassadors and charg?s d'affaires from 81 countries' missions in Korea, the Ministry announced the Korean New Deal implementation strategy, this year's plans for the 'Knowledge Sharing Program (KSP) on Economic Development Experience' and the 'Economic Innovation Partnership Program (EIPP),' and conducted a Q&A session. The KSP refers to a knowledge-sharing project that provides policy formulation and institutional improvement advice to developing countries. The EIPP is a project that offers in-depth consultations on about five cases annually for over three years, focusing on specific sectors such as large-scale infrastructure development.
