View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seo Young-seo] Dream Start in Jangheung-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Jeong Jong-sun) announced on the 31st that it is delivering customized handmade birthday cakes as a happiness support project on the birthdays of 288 children from low-income families in our region.
Case managers visit the homes of children celebrating their birthdays to deliver cakes and congratulations, boosting the children's self-esteem. This project is a child welfare service that subtly but surely increases the happiness index.
This project is carried out through a 10% sponsorship agreement with three local businesses: Paris Baguette, One & Six Bakery, and Dalkom Kkot Siru, and will continue until December.
Mr. Park from Busan-myeon said, “I had forgotten my child's birthday, but thanks to the call saying they would visit to celebrate, I was able to take care of my child's birthday,” expressing gratitude by saying, “Dream Start's welfare service moved my child.”
Governor Jeong Jong-sun stated, “We will cooperate between the public and private sectors to create an environment suitable for raising children in Jangheung, which aims to be a child-friendly city,” and added, “We plan to continuously discover child-centered customized services and actively promote child welfare.”
Jangheung-gun Dream Start provides customized integrated welfare services for vulnerable children and families in the region, focusing on creating healthy and happy families.
