Gwangju Office of Education Conducts Joint Labor-Management Investigation on Musculoskeletal Hazard Factors
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwan-woo] The Gwangju Metropolitan Office of Education announced on the 31st that it conducted a joint labor-management investigation of musculoskeletal hazardous factors at Gwangcheon Elementary School.
A total of seven representatives, including users and workers from the Occupational Safety and Health Committee, attended the investigation that day.
This joint labor-management investigation of musculoskeletal hazardous factors, conducted as a follow-up measure to the results of the 3rd Occupational Safety and Health Committee deliberation, is carried out quarterly targeting schools where work-related musculoskeletal diseases occurred last year.
The investigation is conducted through methods such as selecting musculoskeletal burden tasks according to the Ministry of Employment and Labor notice, applying ergonomic tools to analyze burden tasks, and conducting symptom surveys of workers.
In particular, the Office of Education’s industrial health physician, safety and health managers will conduct a professional and objective investigation and propose a standard plan to prepare measures for improving the work environment.
The standard plan will be used as safety and health education material for the prevention of musculoskeletal diseases in the future.
