According to the Daejeon Fire Headquarters on the 30th, at around 3:54 PM on the 29th, a facility installed at the main gate of Woam Historic Park in Gayang-dong, Dong-gu, was hit by a Grandeur XG vehicle driven by Ms. A (72, female). As a result of the accident, three people?two vehicle occupants and one pedestrian?sustained minor injuries such as bruises and received treatment at a hospital.
The accident occurred after the vehicle crossed over the curb of the park’s main gate, hit a pillar behind it, and bounced into the gate area. The impact caused the pillar to tilt, and the tiled structures such as the gate roof could not bear the weight and collapsed instantly.
The police are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident, considering the possibility of driving inexperience due to Ms. A’s advanced age.
