Gwangju University, Recruiting Companies for Early Startup Package Participation
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwan-woo] Gwangju University announced on the 31st that it is recruiting startup companies to participate in the ‘2021 Early Startup Package’.
Gwangju University, selected as the best institution for two consecutive years in the Early Startup Package performance evaluation, plans to select and support a total of 26 companies (25 in the general field and 1 in the eco-friendly field).
The Early Startup Package is a project by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups that supports business stabilization and growth for early-stage startups with promising startup items.
Gwangju University was selected as the leading university for startup cultivation in 2017, and since transitioning to the Early Startup Package in 2019, it has been conducting the project for five consecutive years, supporting the discovery of early startups in the Honam region and entrepreneurship education programs within the university.
The recruitment target is individual or corporate startups within three years, and the application period is until 6 p.m. on the 15th of next month.
Applications can be submitted on the K-Startup website, and detailed information can be found through the Gwangju University Startup Support Group’s startup portal notice.
Gwangju University plans to provide selected early startups with up to approximately 100 million KRW each in commercialization funds through the Early Startup Package.
