On the 30th, Bae posted on her Facebook, criticizing, "The opposing candidate's camp must have been so focused on negative campaigning that they probably didn't even give Park time to study her pledges."
She added, "I was looking forward to the Seoul mayoral candidate TV debate, but Park's camp needs to reflect a bit," reprimanding them.
Bae further pointed out, "The head of Seoul Special City, the capital of the Republic of Korea, is the only minister-level metropolitan local government head who attends the State Council meetings, so it is a very important position," and questioned, "Shouldn't the person be capable of calculating at least the budget for the pledges they propose?"

This appears to align with the criticism from Oh Se-hoon, the People Power Party's Seoul mayoral candidate, who pointed out that Park's pledge budget estimates are unrealistic.
During the TV debate on the 29th, Oh criticized Park by saying, "I calculated the one-year budget resources for Park Young-sun's pledges, and it amounts to 15 trillion won annually, including 1 trillion won for disaster relief funds and 6 trillion won for half-priced apartments," adding, "Even if you pick fewer than 10 out of about 100 pledges, the budget Park expects is absurd."
He continued, "According to the Seoul city website, there are fixed expenditures, so no matter how tightly you squeeze the dry towel, the amount of money the Seoul mayor can use (about 2.5 trillion won) is not much," and argued, "If my calculation is correct, Park would have to go into debt."
