Seoul Mayor By-election "Park Young-sun 32.5% vs Oh Se-hoon 60.1%"
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] A recent poll revealed a widening gap in support between People Power Party candidate Oh Se-hoon and Democratic Party candidate Park Young-sun in the upcoming Seoul mayoral by-election next month.
On the 30th, Hangil Research conducted a survey commissioned by Maeil Business Newspaper and MBN from the 28th to 29th, targeting 842 residents of Seoul aged 18 and older. The results showed that 60.1% of respondents said they would vote for candidate Oh. Meanwhile, 32.5% said they would vote for candidate Park, resulting in a support gap of 27.6 percentage points.
Among voters aged 60 and above, 74.8% supported candidate Oh, while only 19.9% supported candidate Park. Among voters in their 40s, 50.1% chose candidate Oh, and 43.9% supported candidate Park.
In a survey of 811 residents in Busan, People Power Party candidate Park Hyung-joon recorded 56.7% support. Democratic Party candidate Kim Young-choon received 34.5%.
