Dongdaemun-gu, Recruiting 43 Support Staff for Vaccination Administration

[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Dongdaemun-gu (Mayor You Deok-yeol) is recruiting vaccine support personnel to facilitate smooth vaccination and assist residents with livelihood support and employment stability.
The district is recruiting 43 vaccine support personnel to assist with on-site guidance, maintaining order, transporting supplies, temperature checks, and support with filling out preliminary examination forms ahead of the vaccination scheduled to be held at Dongdaemun-gu Gymnasium starting April 15.
Applicants must be able to work and be at least 18 years old as of March 31. Residents who are vulnerable to employment, those who have experienced job loss or business closure due to COVID-19, or those in need of livelihood support due to the local economic downturn and who have an address in Dongdaemun-gu are eligible to apply.
Working hours are up to 8 hours per day, 5 days a week as a principle, with weekend work included depending on operational circumstances. The salary will be based on the 2021 minimum wage (hourly wage of 8,720 KRW).
Residents wishing to participate in this project can apply in person at the Job Center on the first floor of Dongdaemun-gu Office from March 31 to April 2, bringing their ID cards.
After the application deadline, the district will conduct a review and select the final participants, notifying them individually on April 13. The selected support personnel will be deployed to the vaccination center starting April 15 and will work for six months until October 14.
