Vice Chairman Choi Chang-won Resigns from SK Gas CEO Position
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] SK Gas announced on the 30th that Vice Chairman Choi Chang-won will resign from his position as CEO of SK Gas.
SK Gas will change from a dual CEO system with Vice Chairman Choi Chang-won and President Yoon Byung-seok to a single CEO system with President Yoon Byung-seok as the sole CEO.
Vice Chairman Choi Chang-won will continue to serve as an inside director of SK Gas to maintain a principle of responsible management.
The SK Group has Chairman Choi Tae-won and his younger brother, Senior Vice Chairman Choi Jae-won, overseeing SK Hynix, SK Telecom, and SK Innovation. The cousins, Choi Shin-won and Choi Chang-won, respectively manage SK Networks and SK Gas, and SK Discovery.
