Doosan Appoints Gwak Sang-cheol as Co-CEO... Chairman Park Jung-won and President Kim Min-chul Form Three-Person Leadership Team
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] Doosan announced on the 30th that President Gwak Sangcheol, Chief Business Officer (CBO), has been newly appointed as a co-CEO.
Doosan will operate under a three-person co-CEO system consisting of Park Jungwon, Chairman of Doosan Group and Chairman of the Board, Kim Mincheol, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and President Gwak.
The newly appointed CEO Gwak has accumulated over 40 years of experience in the machinery industry, including Ssangyong Motor and Daedong Industrial, and joined Doosan in 2017 as Head of the Industrial Vehicle BG. He was appointed as the head of the business division overseeing Doosan's operations at the end of last year.
