View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Joeslgina] LG HelloVision announced on the 30th that it signed a business agreement (MOU) with Jeollanam-do at the Jeonnam Provincial Office to jointly promote a regional economic revitalization campaign. This is the second time a metropolitan local government has joined LG HelloVision's regional economic revitalization campaign ‘Dongnegaege Hamkkegage’ after Gangwon-do.
Accordingly, the two organizations will jointly promote the ‘Dongnegaege Hamkkegage’ campaign in the Jeollanam-do area, introducing local small business owners and innovative companies through cable TV local channels. This agreement was promoted based on a consensus that grassroots regional economic revitalization centered on small business owners is a necessary condition for community development.
Jeollanam-do selects small business stores and growth companies within the region and delivers them to LG HelloVision. Based on this, LG HelloVision produces video content highlighting local small business stores and broadcasts it through local broadcasters (SO) in the Jeollanam-do area such as Honam and Ara Broadcasting.
LG HelloVision expects this cooperative system to develop into a cooperative cluster for regional economic revitalization in the future. Once the cooperative system is complexly established and the cluster is formed, it is expected that local governments, regional public enterprises, private companies, small business owners, and local broadcasting operators will come together to jointly consider ways to develop the region.
Kim Young-rok, Governor of Jeonnam Province, said, “Due to COVID-19, consumption patterns are rapidly shifting to non-face-to-face, and the non-face-to-face online market is rapidly expanding. The ‘Dongnegaege Hamkkegage’ campaign, which supports video production and promotion for small business owners, is expected to greatly help activate non-face-to-face sales of small business stores.”
