NH Creator Account Surpasses 200 Billion Won in 1 Year and 5 Months
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Seon-ae] NH Investment & Securities announced on the 30th that its new asset management platform, NH Creator Account, has gathered over 200 billion KRW in funds just 1 year and 5 months after its launch.
NH Creator Account is a customer-tailored branch-operated wrap product that provides an optimal portfolio allowing clients to purchase domestic and international stocks, bonds, and financial products according to their investment preferences and needs. When subscribing to the product, customers complete a ‘Customized Portfolio Diagnosis Questionnaire,’ based on which NH Investment & Securities offers a one-on-one personalized portfolio.
The utilization rate of the investment advisory documents provided monthly to investors who have joined NH Creator Account is very high. Private Bankers (PBs) can refer to these advisory documents for asset management and post-management, enabling efficient customer management, while investors receive carefully selected materials every month, creating a mutually beneficial process for both parties.
Although it has been about a year since its launch, the ways it is managed are very diverse. NH Creator Account portfolios can be composed of various financial products including domestic stocks, overseas stocks including Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs), funds, Equity-Linked Securities (ELS), and domestic and international bonds. Recently, as interest in domestic and international stocks has increased, the customer base has expanded mainly among clients who want to invest based on PBs’ advice and those seeking medium-risk, medium-return through asset allocation amid a low-interest-rate environment.
Meanwhile, interest from high-net-worth individuals is also increasing. According to NH Investment & Securities, the average subscription amount per account was about 110 million KRW in 2020, but this has risen to around 150 million KRW this year. In particular, the number of clients managing assets of 1 billion KRW or more continues to grow. In response to this trend, NH Investment & Securities has also launched ‘NH Creator Account The First Class,’ a VVIP-type product for clients with over 3 billion KRW, thereby expanding its service range.
Thanks to the advantage of providing portfolios tailored to investor preferences and the ability to utilize various included assets and investment strategies, investors are using NH Creator Account as a comprehensive asset management tool.

An NH Investment & Securities official stated, “Last year, the stock and financial markets overall saw high growth rates, but this year, given the circumstances, managing asset volatility seems more important than pursuing returns. The core of asset management is building a portfolio that can withstand various shocks,” adding, “The best way to do this is to diversify the portfolio to handle a wide range of shocks, and NH Creator Account is a platform that makes portfolio investing more convenient.”
