Police Conduct Search and Seizure at City Council Regarding 'Sejong City Council Member Speculation Allegations' (Update)
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-ju] The police investigating real estate speculation allegations triggered by the Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) have launched a forced investigation related to land speculation charges against a Sejong City Council member.
The Sejong Police Agency has been conducting a search and seizure at four locations, including the office of Sejong City Council member A, who has been suspected of speculation, since around 10 a.m. on the 30th.
The Justice Party Sejong City Branch previously held a press conference on the 15th, raising speculation allegations against two Sejong city officials and three current Sejong City Council members, and stated that they had requested a police investigation.
