"How Dare You Commit Adultery?"... Indian Man Kills Wife's Lover After Hiding Under Bed for 6 Hours
[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Eun-young] A man in India hid under the bed for six hours before killing his wife's lover.
On the 27th, local media such as the Times of India reported that the Bayadirahalli police in western Bengaluru arrested Bharat Kumar (31) on suspicion of murder and are investigating.
Bharat, who married his wife Vinuta (31) eight years ago, was an ordinary father of two daughters.
Their marital problems began three years ago when a young man from Vinuta's hometown, Sivaraj (27), came to the couple asking for a job introduction.
After receiving a job introduction, Sivaraj regularly visited the couple's home and eventually confessed his love to Vinuta.
At first, Vinuta refused, but she accepted his confession after Sivaraj pleaded and threatened, saying, "I'd rather die."
Upon discovering his wife's affair, Bharat warned them several times, but Vinuta left home and arranged separate accommodation. Sivaraj visited Vinuta's home once or twice a week to spend time together.

Determined to take revenge, Bharat purchased a weapon and planned the crime by circling around his wife's accommodation.
On the 24th at around 8:30 p.m., Bharat secretly entered the accommodation while his wife left the door open and went out briefly. He then hid under a folding bed from around 9 p.m. and waited for six hours until dawn the next day.
Unaware that Bharat was hiding under the bed, Vinuta and Sivaraj had dinner together and went to sleep.
Waiting for the right moment, Bharat stabbed the sleeping Sivaraj with the prepared weapon after Vinuta got up around 3 a.m. to go to the bathroom, locking the door from outside to prevent himself from being stopped.
After Sivaraj died, Bharat opened the bathroom door so that Vinuta could see what had happened. He then surrendered to the police through a relative.
