[Photo] Preparations Complete for COVID-19 Vaccinations of Seniors Aged 75 and Older at Jungnang-gu Vaccination Center
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] On the 25th at 2 PM, a simulation drill was conducted at the Jungnang-gu Vaccination Center located at 47 Sagajeong-ro 72-gil, in preparation for vaccinating seniors aged 75 and older.
The drill, observed by Jungnang-gu Mayor Ryu Gyeong-gi and officials from related organizations, simulated the entire vaccination process including registration, preliminary examination, vaccination, adverse reaction monitoring, and emergency treatment as if it were a real situation.
Mayor Ryu Gyeong-gi of Jungnang-gu stated, "It is our duty to thoroughly prepare and train so that seniors can receive vaccinations safely and comfortably, and we will respond quickly and accurately in any situation." He added, "I am grateful to everyone who cooperated at this time when all institutions must pool their wisdom and strength amid the COVID-19 situation."

The district will begin administering the Pfizer vaccine to 27,084 seniors aged 75 and older at the vaccination center starting April 1. The vaccination center will operate from 8 AM to 5 PM, and to facilitate easy access for seniors, one shuttle bus will run between Sagajeong Station and the vaccination center, along with eight regional shuttle buses.
