[Asia Economy Reporter Baek Kyunghwan] The trial of former Deputy Director of the Court Administration Office, Lim Jongheon, for 'abuse of judicial administrative power' has been postponed once again.
According to the legal community on the 26th, the Seoul Central District Court Criminal Division 36 (Chief Judge Yoon Jongsup) decided to postpone the continuation of the trial scheduled for the 29th against former Deputy Director Lim and set a new date later.
Former Deputy Director Lim was indicted in November 2018 on charges including abuse of authority and obstruction of the exercise of rights for intervening to reflect the Court Administration Office's position in administrative lawsuits seeking to confirm the status of former Unified Progressive Party members of the National Assembly and local council members.
