Kwon Kwang-seok Confirmed for One-Year Renewal as Woori Bank President
Reappointment of Outside Director and Other Original Proposals Approved
[Asia Economy Reporter Kwangho Lee] Woori Bank held its regular shareholders' meeting on the 25th at its headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul, confirming the one-year extension of President Kwon Kwang-seok's term.
Earlier this month, Woori Financial Group held a subsidiary CEO candidate recommendation committee meeting and solely recommended President Kwon as the final candidate for Woori Bank president. President Kwon's term is one year, until March 24, 2022.
At the shareholders' meeting, the reappointment agenda for outside directors No Seong-tae, Park Sang-yong, and Park Soo-man, whose terms had expired, was also passed.
