The Silla University Center for Teaching and Learning Development utilized the real-time video chat platform ‘ZOOM’ and pre-recorded videos. The training took place over three days: March 18, 24, and 25.
The Center for Teaching and Learning Development conducted four training programs, starting with the excellent teaching methods of professors selected as Best Teachers, followed by ▲ How to write a lesson plan for good classes ▲ Counseling processes and interaction techniques with students for adapting to university life ▲ What constitutes a good class at university.
Lee Kyung-soon, Director of the Center for Teaching and Learning Development, said, “We hope this training, which combined ‘Zoom’ and video lectures to activate concrete case sharing and discussions, will help improve the capabilities of new faculty members.”

Director Lee added, “Silla University operates the ‘Welcome to Silla’ program for new faculty members. Starting with this ‘Start-Up’ training, we will systematically support new faculty members to deliver better classes through LMS (learning management system) usage training, class and lesson plan consulting, and senior professor mentoring programs.”
