Jeon Yeo-ok: "Mr. Cheol-su, Sorry for Voting for Oh Se-hoon... There Is Only One Reason"
"Heart with Ahn Cheol-soo, Sorry for Not Supporting Until the End"
"Chose a Candidate Ready for Immediate Deployment"
Ahn Cheol-soo, the People's Party candidate for Seoul mayor, held a press conference on the 23rd at the National Assembly Communication Office in Yeouido, Seoul, to announce the results of the unification. Regarding the unification primary results, Candidate Ahn self-assessed, "I lost, but I lost with principles."

On the 24th, former lawmaker Jeon posted a blog entry titled "Cheolsu, Thank You and Sorry," saying, "May I call you Cheolsu instead of Representative Ahn Cheol-soo?" and added, "You worked very hard this time."
Jeon wrote, "This by-election concerns the future of our country and our children. Cheolsu is the biggest contributor to the unification. He accepted defeat with integrity and principle, without selfish interests."
She said, "I supported Ahn Cheol-soo this time because I wanted new politics and a new People Power Party. I hoped Ahn Cheol-soo would become the Seoul mayoral candidate and shake up the political scene."
However, Jeon stated that when she received the unified candidate opinion poll call, she voted for Oh Se-hoon, the People Power Party’s Seoul mayoral candidate.
Jeon wrote, "Finally, after Kim Jong-in’s tantrums and personal insults, the 'unified candidate opinion poll' took place. Surprisingly, I received a call. My heart was with Ahn Cheol-soo, but my answer was Oh Se-hoon."
She explained, "The brief moment I changed my mind was not because of any connection with Oh Se-hoon or instinctive support for the People Power Party. I don’t like the People Power Party," adding, "The reason is just one: the next year is crucial. Oh was a Seoul mayor before and can immediately start working."
She continued, "I feel sorry for Cheolsu. I couldn’t support him until the end. But originally, voters are shrewd and cunning."
Still, she wrote, "When Cheolsu accepted defeat with principle, my heart ached deeply."
