Lotte Department Store Gwangju Conducts Spring Gwangjucheon Environmental Cleanup Activities
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Shin Dong-ho] Lotte Department Store Gwangju Branch (Manager Na Yeon) announced on the 24th that it conducted a spring cleaning activity to improve the environment of Gwangjucheon Stream.
This volunteer activity was carried out as part of the citizen participation-type Gwangjucheon Stream improvement project promoted by Gwangju City.
The Charlotte Volunteer Group cleaned up trash and debris around the area from Yangrimgyo Bridge to Seoseokgyo Bridge along Gwangjucheon Stream located in Nam-gu to welcome spring.
Before the environmental cleanup activity, all participating employees strictly followed personal hygiene and quarantine rules such as temperature checks, hand sanitization, and proper mask-wearing.
Lotte Department Store Gwangju Branch plans to continuously promote campaigns such as cleanup activities and removal of harmful plants to improve the landscape of Gwangjucheon Stream and build a community-friendly ecosystem.
