View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Ryu Jeong-min] Former Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol was found to be the fifth wealthiest among senior officials in central government ministries who reported their assets as of December 31 last year.
According to the Government Ethics Committee for Public Officials on the 25th, Yoon was ranked fifth among central government officials with the highest assets. He reported assets worth 6,909,780,000 KRW. The increase in his assets amounted to 225,900,000 KRW.
The majority of Yoon's assets consisted of deposits totaling 5,345,470,000 KRW. Notably, his spouse's deposits exceeded 5 billion KRW. The Acrovista complex building in Seocho-gu, Seoul, registered under his spouse's name, was reported at 1,305,000,000 KRW. Land holdings, including forest land, residential land, and warehouse land in Gangsaeng-myeon, Yangpyeong-gun, Gyeonggi Province, were reported at 259,310,000 KRW.

Meanwhile, among central government officials, the individual reporting the highest assets was Choi Ki-young, Minister of Science and ICT, with total assets amounting to 11,931,660,000 KRW. Additionally, Kim Kyung-sun, Vice Minister of Gender Equality and Family, and Lee Kang-seop, Chief of the Legislative Affairs Office, also reported assets exceeding 10 billion KRW each.
