[Asia Economy Reporter La Young-cheol] Guri City in Gyeonggi Province is installing a pabonggi (automatic garbage bag opener) in the recycling sorting facility within the resource recovery facility and is starting full-scale operation.
On the 24th, the city announced that it has established a sorting facility capable of automatically dismantling and supplying recycling garbage bags with a project cost of 250 million won.
As a result, the average daily sorting volume is expected to increase from 11 tons to 14 tons, and the improved working environment is also expected to reduce the rate of safety accidents.
