Gyeongbuk Province Launches Think Tank 'Future Strategy Research Support Group' ... Discovering Medium and Large-Scale Strategic Projects
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] Gyeongbuk Province will hold the launch ceremony and kickoff meeting of the 'Future Strategy Research Support Group' for discovering medium- and large-scale strategic projects at 2 p.m. on the 24th in the Hwabaekdang Hall of the provincial government office.
The Future Strategy Research Support Group is a think tank composed of experts in related fields to discover convergence and leading tasks in response to the 4th Industrial Revolution era. Through this, the province plans to discover and commercialize medium- and large-scale strategic projects related to future new industries.
The appointed members this time consist of a total of 27 people, including specialized researchers in various fields within the province and professors from local universities. Over the next year, they will play a role in supporting the discovery of innovative tasks in various fields such as urban development, science and technology, industrial economy, welfare and women, culture and tourism, and marine and forestry.
