Hampyeong-gun, COVID-19 Pfizer Vaccination for Seniors Aged 75 and Older
Consent Forms for Vaccination to Be Submitted by the 5th of Next Month, Sequential Vaccinations to Begin from Mid-Month
[Hampyeong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Hampyeong-gun, Jeollanam-do, will begin COVID-19 vaccinations at the vaccination center (Hampyeong National Sports Center) for 6,185 elderly residents aged 75 and older starting around mid-next month.
According to the county on the 23rd, the vaccination targets are elderly residents aged 75 or older (born on or before December 31, 1946) who are registered as residents in Hampyeong-gun, and they must complete pre-registration to receive the vaccine.
Pre-registration can be done by visiting the local town or township office in person by the 5th of next month and submitting a completed 'Vaccine Consent and Personal Information Usage Agreement.'
For elderly individuals who have difficulty visiting in person, the local town or township offices will also conduct a 'visiting vaccination application reception' by directly visiting the target individuals to receive their applications.
The vaccine to be administered is Pfizer. Priority will be given to elderly individuals who can walk or travel by vehicle for safe vaccination, while those with mobility difficulties or serious underlying conditions will be separately guided for later home visits or other arrangements.
Additionally, the county will monitor any reactions for at least three days after vaccination through phone calls or visits, establish an emergency medical transfer system for rapid response in case of adverse reactions, and operate a dedicated COVID-19 vaccination call center for inquiries and adverse reaction responses.
