Samjong KPMG Webinar on Internal Accounting Control System Operation Plans for Mid-sized Listed Companies
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Ji-hwan] Samjong KPMG announced on the 23rd that it will hold a webinar on "Internal Accounting Control System Operation Plan" for mid-sized and small listed companies on the 15th of next month.
According to the External Audit Act, the internal accounting control system audit was introduced in 2019, and a new model code was applied. Next year, the audit target for the internal accounting control system is expected to expand to listed companies with assets of 100 billion KRW or more.
Samjong KPMG will analyze the issues that mid-sized and small listed companies may face when introducing the internal accounting control system and present effective establishment and operation plans for the system.
The first session will feature Kang Kyung-jin, Head of Policy Division 1 at the Korea Listed Companies Association, who will explain the purpose of establishing application techniques for the model code of the internal accounting control system for small and medium enterprises and its key contents. Kim Yoo-kyung, Executive Director at Samjong KPMG, will guide the issues related to the internal accounting control system faced by mid-sized and small listed companies based on accumulated experience.
Ji Dong-hyun, Managing Director at Samjong KPMG, will introduce enterprise-level controls and operating environments optimized for mid-sized and small listed companies, and Shim Jung-hoon, Managing Director at Samjong KPMG, will suggest control establishment and practical application plans suitable for the IT environment of mid-sized and small listed companies. Finally, Park Kwan-jong, Managing Director at Samjong KPMG, will present design and operation plans for the internal accounting control system considering control effectiveness and operational efficiency.
