Law Firm Dongin Partners with IPR Square to Provide Legal Advisory Services on IPOs and Disclosures
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] Law firm Dongin announced on the 23rd that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with IR·PR consulting specialist IPR Square to collaborate on legal advisory services for companies planning initial public offerings (IPO).
Through this MOU, both companies will share their accumulated expertise and know-how and cooperate on future IPO-related tasks. Dongin will manage necessary legal risks for startups and specialized companies in the bio, blockchain, IT, and ESG sectors planning IPOs through IPR Square.
Advisory services such as disclosure tasks and corporate law will also be provided to listed trading companies. IPR Square plans to cooperate with Dongin to establish a consistent legal risk management system for its clients before and after listing.
Attorney Dongguk Lee is in charge of dedicated advisory services for IPR Square’s clients. After graduating from Seoul National University’s Department of Law, Attorney Lee served as a judge at Daejeon District Court and built his career in the legal field. He has also served as a member of the Korea Exchange’s delisting review committee. Until recently, he was active in various roles including as a member of the Korea Consumer Agency’s Consumer Dispute Mediation Committee, legal advisor to the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, and a member of the Administrative Disposition Pre-Review Committee. The Dongin Bio Team, to which Attorney Lee belongs, also led a victory in an administrative lawsuit regarding the cancellation of the Inbosa product approval.
Attorney Dongguk Lee said, “Through this agreement, we expect to strengthen cooperation with IPR Square and synergize our work capabilities by effectively combining our respective experiences and know-how. We will fully utilize our capabilities to establish a comprehensive legal management system within companies and actively cooperate on future IPO-related tasks.”
