According to Seo-gu on the 22nd, the vaccination target in the district includes 18,879 elderly people born on or before December 31, 1946, aged 75 or older.
This vaccination will be carried out in accordance with the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency's COVID-19 vaccination second quarter implementation plan.
Before the full-scale vaccination begins, Seo-gu has organized dedicated teams in each neighborhood led by the neighborhood chiefs as general managers, who, along with community leaders and dedicated staff, visit each household to collect vaccination consent forms and deliver informational notices.
The deadline for submitting vaccination consent forms is the 25th of this month. Based on this, the final vaccination list will be confirmed, and for those confirmed, reservation notification messages including vaccination date, time, and location will be sent according to the vaccine supply schedule.
After vaccination, monitoring for adverse reactions will be conducted for at least three days mainly targeting elderly living alone through phone calls or visits. In case of adverse reactions, an emergency medical institution transfer system is established for rapid response, ensuring thoroughness in the vaccination process.
To ensure smooth vaccination, Seo-gu plans to sign agreements with 11 related organizations in the district on the 25th, focusing on ▲supporting personnel needed for operating vaccination centers ▲establishing a medical system for rapid response to adverse reactions ▲patient transfer and emergency medical support in case of severe adverse reactions ▲providing security support around vaccination centers for safe vaccine storage.
