On the 21st, former lawmaker Geum said on social networking service (SNS), "Seoul citizens must definitely wield the whip against the Moon Jae-in administration."
Former lawmaker Geum stated, "There are points where I differ in opinion from candidates Oh Se-hoon and Ahn Cheol-soo," but added, "Now is the time to set aside differences and unite towards a common goal."
Earlier this month, former lawmaker Geum faced Ahn Cheol-soo, the candidate of the People’s Party, in the 'third zone primary,' a preliminary stage for the opposition's unified Seoul mayoral candidate, but was defeated.
He pointed out, "The Moon Jae-in government was launched with the expectations of many citizens, but it thoroughly betrayed those expectations," and added, "Even now, when a by-election is being held due to their own mistakes, nothing has changed. In fact, it shows even worse behavior."
