A Man in His 50s Arrested for Striking Convenience Store Employee's Head with Wine Bottle over "Mask Wearing" Dispute

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] The Uiseong Police Station in Gyeongbuk announced on the 19th that they have arrested Mr. A (52) on charges of special assault for hitting a convenience store employee's head with a wine bottle while urging mask-wearing.
According to the police, Mr. A allegedly became angry when an employee at a convenience store in Uiseong-eup, Uiseong-gun, asked him to "please wear a mask" around 10 p.m. on the 7th, and struck the employee's head multiple times with a wine bottle displayed in the store. The employee sustained injuries requiring three weeks of medical treatment.
