Sampyo Launches Two New 'All-in-One' Specialty Mortar Products
Four New Products to Launch in the First Half of the Year, Naver Store Entry for Customer Convenience Added

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jong-hwa] Sampyo Group, a leading company in basic construction materials, has launched two new special mortar products.
This month, Sampyo Group introduced two customized special mortar products: 'Self-Leveling Mortar (SPSL 1040)' and 'Polymer Cement Repair Mortar (SPPM 400)'. The two new products are characterized by all-in-one performance that can be used diversely with just one product.
Self-Leveling Mortar (SPSL 1040) is a cement-based self-leveling mortar product with excellent smoothness (the property of becoming flat after pouring). Unlike other companies' products, SPSL 1040 can be applied in thicknesses ranging from 10 to 40 mm with a single product. Currently, products are sold separately according to thickness in the market.
It has high adhesion to floors and prevents cracks and lifting, and it hardens quickly to shorten curing time. Thanks to these features, it is suitable for new construction and repair of buildings such as department stores, exhibition halls, and offices where large floor areas or leveling are required.
Polymer Cement Repair Mortar (SPPM 400) is also designed to be used diversely for plastering and spraying with just one product. It is a mortar with a compressive strength of 400 kgf per cm², generally sold separately as plastering products for walls and floors and spraying products applied like spray.
SPPM 400 has excellent adhesion strength to the substrate, which reduces the occurrence of cracks. It has low rebound loss during spraying and low permeability (the property of water seeping into gaps and holes), preventing concrete freezing. It is mainly used to repair damaged concrete sections caused by deterioration, corrosion, or efflorescence, or to fix vertical and horizontal parts of structures such as tunnels, bridges, and pipelines.
A Sampyo Group official said, "We are confident in the quality as we manage everything from raw materials to production processes and finished products with standards exceeding the Korean Industrial Standards (KS)." He added, "We expect the two high-quality new products introduced this time to expand the choices for customers who have felt limited by the existing special mortar products."
Meanwhile, Sampyo Group plans to expand its mortar market share through continuous product development and diversification of sales channels. The group previously launched four types of non-shrink grout in 2019 and one type of plastering mortar in 2020. This year, following these two new products, they plan to introduce four additional new products in the first half of the year.
They are also expanding their sales network. To get closer to customers, Sampyo Group was the first in the industry to introduce a mortar web ordering system and recently opened a store on Naver Smart Store.

A Sampyo Group official stated, "We will target the mortar market with high-quality products," and expressed confidence, saying, "We will accelerate production line expansion, technological advancement, and sales network expansion to become the industry leader."
