Bucheon City Publishes Booklet Containing 47 Youth Policies Including University, Job Preparation, and Startups
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] Bucheon City in Gyeonggi Province has published a booklet titled 'Bucheon City Youth Policy Collection.ZIP (Youth.ZIP UP)' that selectively includes only beneficial policies for youth.
According to the city on the 19th, youth policies registered on the Online Youth Center (operated by the Korea Employment Information Service) total about 450, combining central government ministries, Gyeonggi Province, and Bucheon City. Because of this, young people had to spend a lot of time finding policies that suited their needs, causing difficulties.
The city selected 47 youth policies tailored to specific situations such as ▲daily life of youth ▲university life ▲job-seeking life ▲work life ▲entrepreneurial life, and compiled them into a 48-page booklet. Youth can easily find detailed information such as how and when to apply for each program, websites, and contact information according to their individual circumstances.
The booklet will be distributed to youth-related institutions such as libraries and job centers, administrative welfare centers, social service personnel, and prospective graduates of specialized high schools. It has also been posted on the city’s website for easy access by anyone.
