View original imageOn the 19th, cultural assets presumed to be from the Joseon Dynasty, including a waterway, a fence, and a pedestal, were discovered on the road in front of the Government Seoul Building during the restructuring construction of Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul.
The Seoul Metropolitan Government is conducting the excavation after review by the Cultural Heritage Committee of the Cultural Heritage Administration. The city plans to complete the detailed excavation work by the end of this month and analyze the historical value and other aspects.
