Eunpyeong-gu 'Han (韓) Cultural Experience Zone' Public Parking Lot Completion Ceremony
Temporary Opening at the End of March... Created as a Parking Lot with a Different Color from Existing Public Parking Lots... Providing Parking Convenience for Visitors Experiencing Korean Culture through Official Opening in April
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Eunpyeong-gu (Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) is opening the Eunpyeong Han Culture Public Parking Lot in Eunpyeong Han Culture Experience Special Zone, a hub of historical and cultural heritage representing Seoul.
Located in Jinkwan-dong, Eunpyeong, the "Han Culture Experience Site" includes the natural environment of Bukhansan Mountain, Eunpyeong Hanok Village, cultural facilities such as Samgaksan Geumam Art Museum, Neonadeuli Center, and Hanok Observatory. As the site has rapidly grown, the increasing number of visitors has caused parking difficulties, leading to inconvenience for users.
To resolve this issue, Eunpyeong-gu purchased a neglected site near the cultural experience area that had not been sold. Construction began in October last year, and this month, a new parking lot was established. After a temporary operation period, it is scheduled to officially open in April.
Since the parking lot is located at the foot of Bukhansan Mountain, unlike existing public parking lots in urban residential areas, it was designed with low stone walls to harmonize with the natural scenery, creating a quiet and simple atmosphere that blends into the beautiful landscape.
Additionally, the flat parking lot can accommodate a total of 152 vehicles, including 2 large buses and 3 dedicated Nanum Car spots. For user safety, convenience facilities such as CCTV, security lights, and electric vehicle chargers have also been installed.
