Prior to the new campaign, SK Magic has been running an eco-friendly campaign called the ‘RE:FRESH Campaign’ since August last year, donating profits from the sales of refurbished products. Refurbished products are items returned by customers due to simple change of mind or display products that undergo thorough reproduction processes such as disassembly, cleaning, parts replacement, and product testing before being resold. SK Magic added that it has been holding special sales events for refurbished products to promote eco-friendly value consumption and donating the sales profits to environmental organizations.
In the new campaign, SK Magic will participate in the ‘Good Water Project’ conducted by the international relief and development NGO Good Neighbors to provide clean drinking water to children in Africa. For each refurbished product rental contract, 30,000 KRW of the profit will be donated to Good Neighbors’ water and sanitation support projects.
This campaign will be conducted through the official online mall, ‘SK Magic Mall.’ Key products such as the All-in-One Direct Water Purifier and All-in-One Direct Water Ice Purifier will be offered at up to 30% off the monthly rental fee. SK Magic explained that the professional rental visit management service, ‘Safe OK’ service, can be used in the same way as with regular products.
