Jindo-gun Operates City Tour Bus on Saturdays and Sundays
Enjoy Tourist Attractions and Cultural Arts Experiences All at Once

View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Hyun] Jindo-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 17th that it will operate the 'Jindo City Tour' bus, which allows visitors to explore the tourist attractions of the treasure island Jindo-gun over the weekend, starting from the 20th.
The 'Jindo City Tour' bus is a day-trip travel product designed for tourists using trains from the metropolitan area and visitors from the southwestern region of Jeollanam-do such as Mokpo. It travels through Muan Namak, Hadang, and Mokpo Station to tour Jindo's tourist sites.
The Saturday course includes the Saturday Folk Performance, Jindo Dog Theme Park, Unlim Sanbang, and Jindo Tower. The Sunday course allows visitors to enjoy Jindo's tourist attractions and cultural art experiences all at once, including Jindo Dog Theme Park, Unlim Sanbang, Song Ga-in Village, Jindo Tower, and Jindo Premium Hall.
Tickets are priced at 7,000 KRW for adults and 3,000 KRW for elementary, middle, and high school students. Reservations can be made through the Jindo-gun website and the Jindo-gun Tourist Information Call Center.
A cultural tourism guide will be on board the city tour bus to introduce landmarks at each tourist hub and provide engaging explanations about the history and humanities of the tourist sites.
In particular, Jindo-gun will disinfect the vehicle before operation to prevent COVID-19, provide hand sanitizers, guide mask-wearing, record passenger lists, and conduct temperature checks.
Additionally, social distancing will be enforced by limiting the number of passengers to 20 or fewer.
