On the 16th, a Democratic Party official stated, "We actively welcome the acceptance of a full investigation of all 300 lawmakers and the appointment of a special prosecutor," adding, "We hope to promptly conduct investigations through both the National Assembly and a third-party organization." Accordingly, the Democratic Party plans to actively consider processing the LH Special Prosecutor Act and conducting a parliamentary audit through bipartisan agreement.
Earlier that day, Joo Ho-young, floor leader of the People Power Party, held a press conference and said, "During this March session, the LH Special Prosecutor Act should be immediately passed in the plenary session, and the Democratic Party must cooperate without delay." This means the Democratic Party has accepted the special prosecutor proposal it had previously demanded regarding the LH incident.

The opposition party also urged the Democratic Party to quickly express unanimous consent for the full investigation of lawmakers, just as all 102 People Power Party lawmakers agreed. Additionally, they planned to submit a request for a parliamentary audit as early as that day. In response, the Democratic Party stated, "We will actively consider the parliamentary audit and consult with the opposition party."
