[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gwangjin-gu (Mayor Kim Seon-gap) has created online stickers featuring various expressions of the district's SNS characters ‘Gwang-i’ and ‘Jin-i’ and released them for free on Naver OGQ Market.
Naver OGQ Market is a platform where anyone can become a creator and share or sell content such as stickers and music. Purchased content can be freely used on Naver blogs, cafes, posts, and more.
As online channels have become increasingly important as communication channels with residents, the district has become the first local government nationwide to release content on Naver OGQ Market to enable wide use of the district characters online.
Additionally, to increase residents' awareness and accessibility of the Gwang-i and Jin-i characters, the stickers are being distributed for free.
The newly released stickers consist of a total of 48 stickers, 24 each of two types: ▲ Passionate Gwang-i and Jin-i ▲ Loving Gwang-i and Jin-i, expressing various emotions.
Notably, these stickers were directly created by young public and New Deal job artists who are responsible for the district's SNS content design and promotional webtoon production, making them even more eye-catching.
Residents who wish to purchase can easily find and use them by accessing Naver OGQ Market and searching for ‘Gwangijin-i’.
The district plans to continue producing and releasing various versions of stickers for free in the future.
In addition, illustrations of Gwang-i and Jin-i and desktop background images are provided on the Gwangjin-gu website under the Gwangjin Introduction - About Our District - Gwangijin-i bulletin board.
