Hana Financial Investment Offers US Stocks When Using Overseas Stock Accumulation Service
[Asia Economy Reporter Ji Yeon-jin] Hana Financial Investment (CEO Lee Jin-guk) announced on the 16th that it will hold the "Mom, Dad, Please Buy Me Overseas Stocks" event, offering prizes to customers using the overseas stock installment service until May 28.
The overseas stock installment service allows customers to designate up to five US stocks or ETF products and automatically purchase a set amount on a specified date each month or week. It offers the advantage of easily and conveniently buying US stocks regularly without currency exchange. This service is designed for investors who want to invest in US stocks long-term as well as customers who want to regularly buy stocks for their children.
Customers who purchase US stocks or ETFs worth at least 300,000 KRW each month for three months through the installment service will be automatically entered into the event. The first 500 participants will receive a department store mobile gift certificate worth 50,000 KRW, and an additional 100 winners will be selected by lottery to receive one share each of US stocks such as Disney (10 people), Apple (30 people), and Coca-Cola (60 people).
Both new account holders and existing Hana Financial Investment account holders can participate in the event.
Jo Il-hwan, Head of BK Promotion Division at Hana Financial Investment, said, "As investor interest and enthusiasm for trading not only domestic stocks but also overseas stocks have been rising recently, especially demand for US stocks has surged," adding, "Hana Financial Investment has prepared the US stock installment service event to provide more diverse services to customers trading US stocks."
